My favorite.. as of today

I like my sketches, I adore my sketches, I live my sketches. 

This one is my favorite. I still remember the day when I had made this. I just could not stop smiling after lifting the charcoal from the paper. I had stepped back and stared at my sketch for minutes.

Henry Mattise

Henry Matisse was a French artist, known for his use of colour and his fluid and original draughtsmanship. I saw one of his painting which looks simple with very few lines, however the expression and the life captured in the painting is priceless. I generally do not like to replicate paintings, but I tried this one. All respect to the artist (to all the artists)
